My name is Mi Kayla. I'm a lifestyle and wedding photographer in the Dallas area. I'm a wife, boy mom, and disciple of Jesus. I live in North Texas in a home overrun with testosterone. On most days you can find me chasing around my boys followed by our fur babies. I have an unhealthy love for gummy snacks, and water bottles...even though I'm terrible at drinking water.

My passion for photography started as a young girl tagging along with my mother to weddings and family shoots. I took a break from the field for a few years, but in 2013 my husband volunteered me to shoot a friend's wedding. That flame quickly reignited and the next 6 months consisted of me borrowing friends' cameras to be able to do shoots in order to save up for my own camera. The rest is history.

My goal is to bring out the best YOU in your session; that natural laugh and smile are what I live for. If that means I have to ask your husband or kids to do something ridiculous, then so be it! I use a great blend of posed/unposed directions in every session, creating a variety of emotions in you.
